In the department, there are currently 22 full and part-time faculty members whose research focuses cover the following areas: translation, pedagogy, sociology, political science, German, German as a foreign language, theater, science, the environment Ecology and Yiddish. Intensive training courses and seminars, which are mandatory for all colleagues, inform teachers about the latest developments in teaching technology in language teaching and in technical areas.
